What we Do: We have been
interested in the precious metals, bullion, and base metals markets
like gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, and zinc for a long
time. We found that major quoting sources had different quotes for
metals and bullion prices. You do not have to be wealthy to invest
in precious metals. You can purchase 1/10 ounce of gold or a few
ounces of silver every month to build up your precious metal hoard
over time. Like everything else, metal investing is a risk. However
we feel it should be a part of your strategy. To us, gold and
silver are like holding a little piece of real estate you can put
in your pocket and take with you! Also visit my

MY TABLE OF PLACES
TO LOOK FOR METALS AND BULLION QUOTES
Kitco -
Probably the Gold Standard, but sometimes a little behind I
think. The message board contains some real jems, along with
it's share of characters. If you can read between the lines,
you can set yourself up for some possible investment hints,
or at least, a few minutes of amusement. Of course Kitco also
sells bullion, U.S. bullion coins, and gold and silver
pool shares.
Apmex -
Seems to Update Quicker, and of course they also sell
precious metal bullion and coins
Of course, one great way to get an idea of
the real street prices, besides visiting your dealer is just
to check out the prices on
Ebay!
I know invenstors who laugh at the idea of Ebay, but I cannot
think of a better gauge of the public's reaction to changes
in the physical metals market.
PCGS -
This site is, of course, oriented more to coin collectors
than bullion investors. However, most coin collectors keep an
eye on bullion prices since it's part of the value of many
coins. The metal quotes are from kitco, but the message board
always provides great information. You can also get an idea
of what your collectable U.S. coins are worth. The site is
sponsored by the PCGS coin grading service.
