No Physicals For Life Insurance and No Medical Disability Too!

Some will decline based on a past run in with the law, even if it was years ago, and the individual has not offended since then...

Health Care Premiums Up 6%

According to Yahoo! News, Health Care Premiums are up 6 percent this year, putting the insurance out of reach of many individuals and small businesses. The good news is that is the lowest increase in quite a few years, but the really BAD NEWS is that health care premiums have risen almost 80% since 2001! Now the insurance companies claim that the increases are due to increasing medical costs, longer hospital stays, and demand for expensive, state of the art treatments. Health Insurance Costs Impact the Affluent Too!

Higher Health Insurance Costs Affects the Middle Class Too! When we consider the forty-seven million Americans without health insurance, we usually think of it as a problem of the poor or lower middle class. Very poor people can qualify for federal government programs like Medicaid, so the problem often does impact the class known as the working poor. A worker at a job which pays a little more than minimum wage, and which does not include a health insurance benefit, is unlikely to be able to set aside money for health insurance...

Long Term Care Insurance

As Americans are living longer, the odds are also increasing that we will need to use an assisted living or nursing facility during our lives. Medicare only pays for short term care, and not long term care. That underscores the need for long term care insurance...
